How Inspire Uplift Gift Cards Work

What You Get:

  • A unique gift card code (format: GIFT-IU-XXXXXXXXXX)
  • Delivered via email to you or directly to the recipient
  • The recipient redeems the code in their account wallet
  • The balance can be used toward any purchase on Inspire Uplift

Gift Card Features:

How to Redeem a Gift Card

If you've received an Inspire Uplift gift card, here's how to add it to your account:

Step 1: Find Your Gift Card Code Check your email for a message from Inspire Uplift with the subject "Your Inspire Uplift Gift Card is Here." Inside you'll find:

  • Your gift card value (e.g., $50)
  • Your unique gift card code (e.g., GIFT-IU-XXXXXXXXXX)

Keep this email handy — you'll need the code in the next steps.

Step 2: Log Into Your Account Go to www.inspireuplift.com and sign in. If you don't have an account yet, create one using the same email where you received the gift card.

Step 3: Go to Your Wallet

  1. Click your profile icon or name in the top right corner
  2. Select Wallet from the menu on the left side of your account page
  3. You'll see your current wallet balance displayed at the top

Step 4: Redeem Your Code

  1. Click the "Redeem Gift Card" button (teal button below your balance)
  2. A window will pop up asking for your gift card code
  3. Paste or type your code exactly as it appears in your email
  4. Click Submit
  5. Your balance updates immediately

Example: If you had $10.00 in your wallet and redeemed a $50 gift card, your new balance would be $60.00.

Step 5: Use Your Balance at Checkout

  1. Shop and add items to your cart
  2. Proceed to checkout
  3. You'll see "Use Wallet Balance" with your current balance displayed
  4. Make sure the toggle is switched ON (it's on by default)
  5. Your wallet balance automatically applies to your order total

If your balance covers the full order:

  • The payment total will show $0.00
  • Just click Complete Order — no additional payment needed

If your balance doesn't cover the full order:

  • Your wallet balance is applied first
  • You pay the remaining amount with another payment method (credit card, PayPal, etc.)
  • Example: Your order is $75.00 and you have $50.00 in your wallet. Your wallet covers $50.00, and you pay the remaining $25.00 with your card.

Want to Save Your Balance for Later?

If you'd rather not use your wallet balance on a particular order, simply toggle "Use Wallet Balance" to OFF at checkout. Your balance stays in your wallet for whenever you're ready to use it.

Beyond gift cards, we offer other ways to make gift-giving easy:

Ship Directly to the Recipient:

  • At checkout, simply enter the recipient's address as the shipping address
  • Your billing address can be different from the shipping address

Request a Gift Packing Slip:

  • Contact us immediately after placing your order
  • Request that pricing be removed from the packing slip
  • We'll accommodate if the order hasn't shipped yet

Add a Gift Message:

  • Some products offer a gift message option at checkout
  • If you don't see the option, contact us with your order number and message after ordering

Add Delivery Instructions:

  • Include notes like "Leave at front door" or "Call when arriving"
  • Contact us after ordering with your order number and instructions

Troubleshooting Gift Card Issues

My gift card code isn't working:

  • Double-check for typos — codes are case-sensitive
  • Make sure you're copying the full code with no extra spaces before or after
  • Confirm the code hasn't already been redeemed
  • Try typing it manually if copy-paste isn't working

I don't see the Wallet option:

  • Make sure you're logged into your account
  • Look for "Wallet" in the left sidebar of your account page
  • Try refreshing the page or clearing your browser cache

My balance didn't apply at checkout:

  • Check that the "Use Wallet Balance" toggle is switched ON
  • Refresh the checkout page
  • Try logging out and back in, then return to checkout

I received store credit but don't see it in my wallet:

  • Store credit is sometimes applied automatically without a code — check your wallet balance, it may already be there
  • If you were told you'd receive a gift card code, check your email including spam/junk folders
  • If you received a code (format: GIFT-IU-XXXXXXXXXX), you need to manually redeem it in your Wallet

Gift card was sent to the wrong email:

  • Contact us with the gift card purchase details and the correct email address
  • We can reissue the gift card to the right recipient

Good to Know

  • Your balance never expires — Use it whenever you're ready
  • It applies automatically — As long as the toggle is on at checkout, your wallet balance will be used
  • It can't be transferred — Your wallet balance is tied to your account and can't be moved to another account
  • Combine with other payment methods — If your balance doesn't cover the full order, pay the rest with any accepted payment method
  • Combine with Perks — Perks members still earn 2% cashback and get free shipping even when paying with gift card balance
