How to Redeem Your Gift Card or Store Credit

Gift cards and store credit both work through your Inspire Uplift Wallet. Once redeemed, the balance applies automatically at checkout — or you can toggle it off if you'd rather save it for later.

Step 1: Find Your Gift Card Code

If you received a gift card, check your email for a message from Inspire Uplift with the subject "Your Inspire Uplift Gift Card is Here." Inside, you'll see:

  • Your gift card value (e.g., $100)
  • Your unique gift card code (e.g., GIFT-IU-XXXXXXXXXX)

Tip: Keep this email handy — you'll need the code in the next steps.

If you received store credit (from a refund, promotion, or customer service resolution), you may have already had it added to your wallet automatically. Check your wallet balance first before looking for a code.


Step 2: Log In to Your Account

Go to inspireuplift.com and sign in to your account.

You can log in using:

  • Your email and password
  • Sign in with Facebook
  • Sign in with Google

Don't have an account yet? Click "Sign up" to create one using the same email where you received your gift card.


Step 3: Go to Your Wallet

Once logged in:

  1. Click your profile icon or name in the top right corner
  2. Select Wallet from the menu on the left side of your account page

You'll see your current wallet balance displayed at the top of the page.


Step 4: Redeem Your Gift Card Code

  1. Click the Redeem Gift Card button (it's the teal button below your balance)
  2. A small window will pop up asking for your Gift Card Code
  3. Paste or type your code exactly as it appears in your email
  4. Click Submit

Your balance will update immediately to reflect the new amount.

Example: If you had $79.60 in your wallet and redeemed a $100 gift card, your new balance would be $179.60.


Step 5: Use Your Balance at Checkout

Now you're ready to shop! When you proceed to checkout:

  1. You'll see "Use Wallet Balance" with your current balance displayed
  2. Make sure the toggle is switched ON (it's on by default)
  3. Your wallet balance will automatically apply to your order total

If your balance covers the full order:

  • The "Payment Total" will show $0.00
  • Just click Complete Order — no additional payment needed

If your balance doesn't cover the full order:

  • Your wallet balance will be applied first
  • You'll pay the remaining amount with another payment method (credit card, PayPal, etc.)

Example: Your order is $50.00 and you have $30.00 in your wallet. Your wallet covers $30.00, and you pay the remaining $20.00 with your card.


Want to Save Your Balance for Later?

If you'd rather not use your wallet balance on a particular order, simply toggle "Use Wallet Balance" to OFF at checkout. Your balance will remain in your wallet for future purchases.


Good to Know

  • Your balance never expires. Use it whenever you're ready.
  • It applies automatically. As long as the toggle is on at checkout, your wallet balance will be used.
  • It can't be transferred. Your wallet balance is tied to your account and can't be moved to another account.
  • Combine with other payment methods. If your balance doesn't cover the full order, you can pay the rest with any accepted payment method.

Troubleshooting

My gift card code isn't working

  • Double-check for typos — codes are case-sensitive
  • Make sure you're copying the full code with no extra spaces
  • Confirm the code hasn't already been redeemed

I don't see the Wallet option

  • Make sure you're logged in to your account
  • Look for "Wallet" in the left sidebar of your account page

My balance didn't apply at checkout

  • Check that the "Use Wallet Balance" toggle is switched ON
  • Refresh the checkout page if needed

I received store credit but don't see it in my wallet

  • Store credit is sometimes applied automatically without a code
  • Check your wallet balance — it may already be there
  • If you were told you'd receive a code, check your email (including spam/junk folders)
