How do I enable notifications?
Setting up alerts and updates.
You can receive notifications from Inspire Uplift through three channels — email, app push notifications, and browser notifications. Each is controlled separately, so you can choose exactly how you want to stay informed about orders, shipping updates, deals, and promotions.
Email Notifications
Email is our primary communication channel. You'll automatically receive essential order-related emails (confirmations, shipping updates, delivery notifications) when you place an order — these can't be turned off because they contain important order information.
Marketing emails (deals, new products, flash sales) are optional:
To subscribe: Enter your email at the bottom of any page on www.inspireuplift.com, or check the marketing email option during account creation or checkout.
To adjust preferences: Go to Account Settings > Email Preferences to choose which types of marketing emails you receive.
To unsubscribe: Click "Unsubscribe" at the bottom of any marketing email for instant removal.
Not receiving emails? Check your spam/junk folder — especially if you use Outlook, Hotmail, Comcast, or corporate email. Add contact@inspireuplift.com to your contacts or safe senders list to prevent filtering. See our article: How Do I Add Inspire Uplift to My Safe Senders?
App Push Notifications
Push notifications are the fastest way to get real-time alerts on your phone — instant delivery updates, flash sale announcements, and deal alerts. They require the Inspire Uplift app.
To enable:
iPhone/iPad:
- Download the Inspire Uplift app from the App Store (if you haven't already)
- When the app asks to send notifications, tap "Allow"
- If you previously denied, go to Settings > Notifications > Inspire Uplift > toggle on "Allow Notifications"
Android:
- Download the Inspire Uplift app from Google Play (if you haven't already)
- Accept the notification prompt when asked
- If you previously denied, go to Settings > Apps > Inspire Uplift > Notifications > toggle on
To customize what you receive: On Android, you can often toggle individual notification categories (order updates, promotions, etc.) on or off independently. On iPhone, notifications are all-or-nothing through system settings, though the app may offer in-app preferences.

Browser Notifications
Some browsers support web push notifications that work without the app. When you visit our website, you may see a prompt asking "Allow notifications from inspireuplift.com?"
To enable: Click "Allow" when the prompt appears. If you dismissed it, you can re-enable through your browser settings:
Chrome: Click the padlock icon in the address bar > Site Settings > Notifications > Allow.
Firefox: Click the padlock icon > Connection secure > More Information > Permissions > Notifications > Allow.
Safari: Safari > Preferences > Websites > Notifications > find inspireuplift.com > Allow.
Browser notifications work on desktop and some mobile browsers, delivering alerts even when you're not actively on our site.
What You'll Be Notified About
Order Updates: Order confirmation, payment processed, order shipped, and delivery confirmation.
Shipping Alerts: Tracking updates, out-for-delivery notifications, and delivery photos when available.
Promotions and Deals: Flash sales, seasonal promotions, discount codes, and member-only offers.
Price Alerts: Notifications about products you've viewed or wishlisted going on sale.
Our Recommendation
For the most complete notification setup:
Keep email notifications on for a reliable record of all order activity. Emails serve as your permanent receipt and reference for every transaction.
Enable app push notifications if you want real-time alerts. This is the best way to catch flash sales, track deliveries in real time, and know the moment your package arrives.
Browser notifications are optional — useful if you spend a lot of time on your computer and don't have the app, but redundant if you already have app notifications enabled.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: I enabled notifications but I'm not getting any. What's wrong? A: Check that Do Not Disturb or Focus mode isn't active, your phone has sufficient battery (low-power mode can suppress notifications), the app is updated, and on Android, battery optimization isn't restricting the app (Settings > Battery > Inspire Uplift > Unrestricted).
Q: Can I get notifications for just order updates, not promotions? A: Yes. On Android, toggle off promotional notification categories while keeping order updates on. On iPhone, app push notifications are all-or-nothing, but you can unsubscribe from marketing emails while keeping order confirmation emails. The app may also offer in-app notification preferences.
Q: Do I need the app for notifications? A: Not necessarily. Email notifications work without the app, and browser notifications can deliver real-time alerts on desktop. But the app provides the fastest, most reliable push notifications to your phone.
Q: Will I get duplicate notifications across channels? A: You may receive both an email and a push notification for the same event (like an order shipping). They serve different purposes — the email is your permanent record, the push notification is your real-time alert. If duplicates bother you, disable one channel for promotional content while keeping both for order updates.
