I can't find the product I saw before
Locating previously viewed items.
Don't worry — there are several ways to track down a product you previously viewed on Inspire Uplift. With 20M+ products on our marketplace, it's easy to lose track of something that caught your eye. Whether you saw it yesterday or weeks ago, here's how to find it again.
Check Your Recently Viewed Products
If you were browsing while logged into your account, your recently viewed products may be accessible:
On the Website: Look for a "Recently Viewed" or "Viewed Recently" section on the homepage or at the bottom of product pages. This section automatically tracks products you've looked at and displays them in reverse chronological order — the most recently viewed appear first.
On the App: The mobile app may display recently viewed products on the home screen or in your account section. Check for a "Recently Viewed" tab or section within the app.
Note: Recently viewed history may be limited to a certain number of items and can be cleared if you clear your browser cache or cookies, or if you were browsing without being logged in.
Check Your Wishlist
If you added the product to your wishlist before losing track of it, it's saved there:
- Log into your account
- Go to your Wishlist or Saved Items
- Scroll through to find the product
This is why we always recommend adding interesting products to your wishlist as soon as you spot them — it only takes one click and saves you from exactly this situation in the future.
Check Your Browser History
Your browser keeps a record of every page you've visited, which makes it a powerful tool for finding products you viewed:
Google Chrome: Press Ctrl+H (Windows) or Cmd+Y (Mac) to open your browsing history. In the search bar at the top of the history page, type "inspireuplift" to filter for only Inspire Uplift pages. Scroll through the results to find the product page you visited. Each entry shows the page title (which usually includes the product name) and the date/time you visited.
Safari: Click History in the menu bar, then "Show All History." Use the search box to search for "inspireuplift" and browse the results.
Firefox: Press Ctrl+H (Windows) or Cmd+H (Mac) to open the history sidebar. Search for "inspireuplift" to filter results.
Microsoft Edge: Press Ctrl+H to open history. Search for "inspireuplift" to find pages you visited.
On Mobile: Most mobile browsers have a history feature accessible through the browser menu (three dots or lines). Search within your history for "inspireuplift."
Important: Browser history only works if you haven't cleared it since viewing the product. If you recently cleared your cache, cookies, or browsing history, these records may be gone.
Search for the Product
If you remember details about the product, searching our marketplace is often the fastest way to find it:
Search by product name or description. Even partial names or descriptions can work. If you remember it was a "blue ceramic mug with cat design," searching "cat ceramic mug" should surface it.
Search by key features. Think about what made the product stand out — the material, color, function, size, or unique feature. Search for those distinguishing characteristics.
Search by product type. If you can't remember specifics, search the general category — "desk lamp," "phone case," "yoga mat" — and browse through results. You might recognize it when you see it.
Try different search terms. The product might be listed under a different name than you remember. A "travel organizer" might also be listed as "packing cubes," "luggage organizer," or "travel storage bag." Try synonyms and alternative descriptions.
Check Your Email
If you received the product as a recommendation or saw it in one of our marketing emails:
Search your email inbox for "Inspire Uplift" and browse through recent emails. Our newsletters and promotional emails feature product images with direct links — if the product was in an email, clicking the link takes you right to it.
Check your spam/junk folder too, in case our emails were filtered there.
Check Social Media
If you first saw the product on our social media:
Check your saved posts. If you saved or bookmarked the post on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, or Pinterest, the product link should be in the saved post.
Check your browsing history on the platform. Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms keep a history of content you've interacted with. Look through your recent activity or liked posts.
Search our social profiles. Visit @inspireuplift on the platform where you saw it and scroll through recent posts. If you remember approximately when you saw it, narrow your scroll to that timeframe.
Check our blog. If you saw the product in a blog post, visit blog.inspireuplift.com and browse recent articles. Our blog features product spotlights, gift guides, and curated collections with direct product links.
Ask Us for Help
If you've tried the methods above and still can't find the product, our support team can help:
Contact us with whatever you remember. Any detail helps — the general product type, color, approximate price, category, any words from the name, when you saw it (yesterday, last week, last month), and where you saw it (on our website, in an email, on social media, on a specific category page).
The more details you provide, the better our chances of finding it. Even vague descriptions like "it was a kitchen gadget, I think it was green, and it was around $15-20" give us enough to search effectively.
Send us a screenshot. If you took a screenshot of the product or the page, send it to us. We can often identify the product from an image even without the product name.
Describe what the product does. Sometimes describing the function is more helpful than describing the appearance. "It was a tool that chops vegetables into spirals" is easier to search for than "it was a green kitchen thing."
Preventing This in the Future
To avoid losing track of products you're interested in:
Use your wishlist. Tap the heart icon or "Add to Wishlist" on any product that catches your eye. It takes one second and saves you from hunting later. Your wishlist is accessible from any device when you're logged in.
Create an account if you haven't already. A free account gives you a persistent wishlist, recently viewed history, and cart that syncs across devices. Without an account, your browsing data is tied to a single browser session and can be lost when you close the tab.
Bookmark product pages. If you don't want to use a wishlist, bookmark interesting products in your browser. Create a folder called "Inspire Uplift" to keep them organized.
Take screenshots. A quick screenshot captures the product image, name, and price for easy reference later. Even if you can't find the exact product, a screenshot helps our support team identify it.
Save the URL. Copy the product page URL and paste it into a note on your phone, a text message to yourself, or any note-taking app. Direct URLs are the most reliable way to get back to an exact product page.
Share with yourself. Use the share button on the product page to email the link to yourself or send it via your favorite messaging app.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: The product I found before seems to have disappeared. Was it removed? A: It's possible. Products can be removed from our marketplace if the seller takes them down, the item sells out and isn't restocked, or the listing is removed for policy reasons. If the product was removed, search for similar items — with 20M+ products, there's likely a comparable alternative available.
Q: I saw a product in an ad but can't find it on your site. Why? A: The product may have sold out since the ad was created, the listing may have been updated with a different title, or the ad may have featured a product that's no longer available. Try searching for the product type rather than the exact name. If you have the ad screenshot, send it to us and we'll help locate the product or a similar alternative.
Q: Can I recover my browsing history if I cleared my browser cache? A: Unfortunately, once browser history is cleared, it can't be recovered through normal means. This is why saving products to your wishlist is the most reliable method — wishlist data is stored in your account, not your browser, and persists even if you clear your cache.
Q: I was browsing without being logged in and now I can't find the product. What can I do? A: Check your browser history (if not cleared) using the steps above. If that doesn't work, try to recreate your browsing path — think about what you searched for, what category you were browsing, or how you found the product originally. Contact us with whatever details you remember and we'll help search.
Q: The product page loads but says "unavailable." Will it come back? A: It might. Products go unavailable when they sell out, and many sellers restock popular items. Add it to your wishlist and check back periodically. You can also message the seller to ask about restocking plans. If you need the item now, search for similar products from other sellers.
