How do I unsubscribe from emails?

You can unsubscribe from our marketing emails with one click, and the change takes effect immediately. You'll still receive essential order-related emails (confirmations, shipping updates), but all promotional content stops. Here's how.

How to Unsubscribe from Marketing Emails

Method 1: One-Click Unsubscribe (Fastest)
  1. Open any promotional email from Inspire Uplift
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the email
  3. Click the "Unsubscribe" link
  4. You're done — removal is processed immediately

Allow up to 48 hours for all scheduled emails to fully stop. Any emails that were already queued before you unsubscribed may still arrive, but no new promotional emails will be sent after that.

Method 2: Account Settings
  1. Log into your account at www.inspireuplift.com
  2. Go to Account Settings
  3. Find the email or notification preferences section
  4. Uncheck marketing or promotional emails
  5. Save your changes

This gives you more granular control over which types of emails you receive.

Understanding Which Emails You Can and Can't Control

Marketing Emails (Your Choice — Can Be Turned Off)

These are promotional emails that you can unsubscribe from at any time:

  • Sale announcements and promotional offers
  • Flash sale notifications
  • New product launches and collections
  • Seasonal promotions and holiday deals
  • Member-only deals and exclusive offers
  • Product recommendations and curated collections
  • Newsletter content and marketplace updates

All of these stop when you unsubscribe. One click and they're gone.

These are transactional emails directly related to your purchases. They're essential communications about your money and your orders, and they're sent regardless of your marketing preferences:

  • Order confirmations — Confirms your order was placed and payment processed
  • Shipping notifications — Tells you your order shipped, with tracking information
  • Delivery confirmations — Lets you know your package was delivered
  • Refund confirmations — Confirms when a refund has been processed
  • Cancellation confirmations — Confirms when an order has been cancelled

Why these can't be turned off: These emails are your receipt, your tracking, and your proof of purchase. They protect you by ensuring you always have documentation of your transactions. Even if you never want to hear from us again promotionally, you need to know when your money is charged, when your order ships, and when your refund is processed.

Account Security Emails (Required — Cannot Be Turned Off)

For your protection, these are always active:

  • Password reset requests
  • Two-factor authentication codes
  • Account security alerts (unusual login activity)
  • Important policy updates that affect your rights
Perks Membership Emails (Tied to Membership)

If you're a Perks member:

  • You'll receive membership-related communications (billing confirmations, benefit updates)
  • These stop when you cancel your Perks membership
  • They're separate from marketing emails — unsubscribing from marketing doesn't affect Perks communications

Already Unsubscribed But Still Getting Emails?

This is a common concern. Here's how to troubleshoot:

Wait 48 Hours

Unsubscribe is processed immediately, but emails that were already scheduled or queued before you unsubscribed may still arrive. Allow a full 48 hours for everything to stop completely.

Check What Type of Emails You're Receiving

If you're still getting emails after 48 hours, look at what they are:

Are they order-related? Emails about order confirmations, shipping updates, and delivery notifications are not marketing emails — they're transactional and will continue for any active orders. These are not affected by unsubscribing.

Are they Perks membership emails? If you're a Perks member, membership-related emails continue even after you unsubscribe from marketing. Cancel your Perks membership to stop these.

Are they actually from us? Check the sender's email address. Our legitimate emails only come from:

Multiple Accounts

If you have more than one Inspire Uplift account (different email addresses), each account has its own email preferences. You'll need to unsubscribe from each account separately.

How to check: Search all your email accounts for "Inspire Uplift." If you find promotional emails going to multiple addresses, unsubscribe from each one individually.

Manual Removal

If you've tried everything and are still receiving promotional emails after 48 hours:

  • The email address receiving unwanted messages
  • A note requesting manual removal from all marketing lists
  • We'll remove you manually and confirm within 24 hours

Want Fewer Emails, Not Zero?

If you'd like to reduce how many promotional emails you receive rather than stopping them entirely:

Contact us at contact@inspireuplift.com and let us know you'd like to receive emails less frequently. We can adjust the frequency of promotional communications you receive so you still catch the best deals without feeling overwhelmed.

Alternatively: Unsubscribe from everything and then selectively re-subscribe later if you miss the deals. You can always re-subscribe through your account settings or by signing up again at the bottom of www.inspireuplift.com.

What You'll Miss If You Unsubscribe

We completely respect your decision to unsubscribe — but here's what you'll no longer receive, in case you change your mind:

  • Exclusive discount codes — Some of our best coupon codes are email-only
  • Flash sale announcements — Time-limited deals that sell out quickly
  • Early access to sales — Subscribers often hear about sales before they go live
  • New product launches — First look at trending and new items
  • Perks member deals — Member-only promotions (if you're a Perks member)
  • Seasonal promotions — Holiday sales, Black Friday deals, and seasonal events

If you unsubscribe and later want to re-subscribe: You can sign up again at any time through your account settings or the email signup form at the bottom of www.inspireuplift.com.

Managing Email From Sellers

If you've messaged a seller directly, they may respond via email. This is separate from Inspire Uplift marketing emails:

  • Seller responses are part of your order communication, not marketing
  • Unsubscribing from Inspire Uplift marketing doesn't affect seller messages
  • Sellers are prohibited from adding you to their own marketing lists
  • If a seller sends you unsolicited marketing after a purchase, report it to us

Tips for Managing Your Inbox

If you want to keep receiving our emails but keep your inbox organized:

Create a Filter: Most email providers let you create rules:

  • Gmail: Create a filter for emails from @inspireuplift.com and have them skip the inbox and go to a "Shopping" or "Deals" label
  • Outlook: Create a rule to move Inspire Uplift emails to a dedicated folder
  • Yahoo/Others: Set up filters in your mail settings

This way, the emails are there when you want to browse deals, but they don't clutter your main inbox.

Check the Promotions Tab: Gmail automatically sorts promotional emails into the "Promotions" tab. Our marketing emails will go there by default, keeping your primary inbox clean while still being accessible.

Set Aside Deal-Hunting Time: Rather than checking promotional emails as they arrive, set aside time once a week to browse through deals and discount codes. This keeps you informed without constant interruption.

Q: Can I unsubscribe from emails without having an account? A: Yes. The "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any promotional email works regardless of whether you have an account. It removes the email address that received the message from our marketing list.

Q: I never signed up for emails. Why am I getting them? A: You may have been added to our mailing list when you placed an order or created an account. If you didn't intentionally subscribe, simply click "Unsubscribe" at the bottom of any email and you won't receive further promotional messages.

Q: If I unsubscribe and then create a new account later, will I start getting emails again? A: Creating a new account may resubscribe you to marketing emails as part of the account setup. You can unsubscribe again at any time using the same one-click process.
