Our app is designed to be lightweight and efficient, comparable in size to most shopping apps. It won't eat up your phone's storage, and if it ever starts taking up too much space, it's easy to manage.

App Size

The initial download size varies slightly depending on your device and operating system, but the Inspire Uplift app is a standard-sized shopping app that shouldn't be a concern for most devices.

Over time, the app may use additional storage as it caches images and data to make your browsing experience faster. This cached data helps product photos and pages load more quickly on repeat visits, so it's actually working in your favor — but it can add up if you browse a lot.

Managing App Storage

If the app is using more space than you'd like, here are your options:

Clear the App Cache

This removes temporarily stored data (cached images, browsing data) without affecting your account, orders, wishlist, or saved information. Everything important is stored on our servers, not on your phone.

On iPhone:

  1. Go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage
  2. Find and tap Inspire Uplift
  3. Tap Offload App (removes the app but keeps your data) or Delete App (removes everything)
  4. Reinstall from the App Store
  5. Log back in — all your account data is restored automatically

Note: iOS doesn't offer a "clear cache" option for individual apps. Offloading and reinstalling is the most effective approach.

On Android:

  1. Go to Settings > Apps (or Apps & Notifications)
  2. Find and tap Inspire Uplift
  3. Tap Storage (or Storage & Cache)
  4. Tap Clear Cache
  5. This removes cached data without deleting the app or logging you out
Delete and Reinstall

For a completely fresh start:

  1. Delete the Inspire Uplift app from your device
  2. Reinstall it from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
  3. Log back into your account

Nothing is lost when you reinstall. Your account data, order history, wishlist, saved addresses, payment methods, Perks membership, wallet balance, and everything else is stored securely on our servers — not on your phone. Reinstalling simply gives you a clean, fresh version of the app.

Adjust Your Browsing Habits

If you find the app growing in size frequently:

  • Close the app fully when you're not using it (don't just minimize)
  • Clear the cache periodically (every few months is usually sufficient)
  • Avoid leaving dozens of product pages open in the app

How to Check How Much Space the App Is Using

On iPhone:

  1. Go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage
  2. Scroll down to find Inspire Uplift
  3. You'll see the total space used, split between the app itself and its data/cache

On Android:

  1. Go to Settings > Apps
  2. Find and tap Inspire Uplift
  3. Tap Storage
  4. You'll see App size, User data, and Cache broken out separately

Tips for Managing Phone Storage Overall

If you're running low on phone storage in general, here are some tips beyond just the Inspire Uplift app:

  • Check which apps use the most storage — In your phone's storage settings, apps are usually listed by size. The biggest storage users are typically photo/video apps, social media, and messaging apps — not shopping apps.
  • Offload unused apps — Both iPhone and Android can automatically remove apps you haven't used recently while keeping their data
  • Clear old photos and videos — These are almost always the biggest storage consumers. Back them up to cloud storage (iCloud, Google Photos) and remove local copies.
  • Delete old message threads with photos/videos — Messaging apps can accumulate gigabytes of media over time
  • Stream instead of download — For music and video apps, streaming uses no storage while downloads add up quickly

Q: Will the app slow down my phone? A: No. The Inspire Uplift app is a standard shopping app that uses minimal system resources. It doesn't run in the background consuming battery or processing power unless you have it actively open.

Q: Does the app use data when I'm not shopping? A: The app may occasionally check for push notifications (order updates, shipping alerts) which uses a tiny amount of data. This is negligible — far less than social media apps or streaming services. You can disable push notifications in your phone's settings if you prefer.

Q: Is the app smaller than using the website in my browser? A: Generally, yes. The app is optimized for mobile use and typically uses storage more efficiently than browser cache from repeated website visits. If storage is a major concern, the app is actually the better option compared to heavy mobile browser usage.

Q: Can I move the app to my SD card (Android)? A: Some Android devices allow moving apps to SD card storage. Go to Settings > Apps > Inspire Uplift > Storage and look for a "Move to SD card" option. Not all devices or Android versions support this feature.

Q: I deleted the app. Will I lose my Perks membership? A: No. Your Perks membership is tied to your account, not to the app on your phone. Deleting the app has no effect on your membership, billing, or benefits. Reinstall anytime and log back in — everything is exactly as you left it.

Q: The app update is large. Do I need to update? A: We recommend keeping the app updated for the best experience, security patches, and newest features. If storage is tight, try clearing the cache before updating — this often frees enough space. You can also delete and reinstall the latest version for a clean start.
