Can I edit my product review?

Updating feedback you've provided.

Yes! You can edit your review at any time — update your rating, revise your text, or add photos whenever you want. Your reviews aren't set in stone. As your experience with a product evolves, your review should too.

How to Edit

  1. Log into your account at www.inspireuplift.com
  2. Go to "My Reviews" in your account dashboard
  3. Find the review you want to edit
  4. Click "Edit"
  5. Make your changes — update the star rating, rewrite or add to your text, upload new photos, or remove existing ones
  6. Click "Save" to publish your updates

Your edited review replaces the original and is visible to other shoppers immediately.

What You Can Change

Everything. Star rating, written feedback, photos — any part of your review is editable. There's no limit on the number of edits and no time limit on when you can make changes.

When Editing Makes Sense

After extended use. A product that seemed great on day one might prove even better (or worse) after weeks of use. Long-term feedback is some of the most valuable for other shoppers.

After a seller resolves an issue. If you left a negative review and the seller made it right — replacement, refund, or fix — updating your review to reflect the resolution is fair and helpful. Consider something like "Updated: The seller quickly sent a replacement and the product is great. Excellent customer service."

To add photos. Didn't take photos when the product arrived? Take them now and add them to your review. Real photos from real customers are incredibly valuable.

To correct an error. If you got a detail wrong in your original review, edit it so other shoppers get accurate information.

After comparing with alternatives. If you've since tried similar products, adding comparative context makes your review more useful.

Tips for Helpful Edits

Mention that you're updating. Start with "Updated after 3 months:" or "Edited to reflect resolution:" so readers understand the context.

Be specific about what changed. "Originally 3 stars, now 5 — the product has held up beautifully over 6 months of daily use" is much more useful than just changing the number.

Include timeframes. Mentioning how long you've used the product gives your update credibility and context.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I delete a review instead of editing it? A: In most cases, yes. Check "My Reviews" for a delete option. If you don't see one, contact us and we'll assist. We encourage editing over deleting when possible — even critical reviews help other shoppers.

Q: Will the seller be notified when I edit my review? A: The seller won't receive a specific notification, but the updated review is visible on their product page. If you edited because they resolved an issue, they'll appreciate the updated feedback when they check their reviews.

Q: A seller is pressuring me to change my review. What should I do? A: Sellers may reach out to resolve an issue mentioned in your review, which is encouraged. But pressuring, threatening, or offering incentives solely to change a review is not appropriate. If a seller is pressuring you, report it to us at contact@inspireuplift.com. You're never obligated to change a review.

Q: I left a review on the wrong product. Can I move it? A: Reviews can't be moved between products. Delete the incorrect review and post a new one on the correct product page. Contact us if you need help.
