We limit what personal information sellers can access about you. Your privacy is important, and our platform is designed so that sellers only receive the information they need to fulfill your order — nothing more.

What Sellers Can See

When you place an order, the seller receives only the information necessary to prepare and ship your product:

Order-Related Information:

  • Your name — Needed for the shipping label
  • Your shipping address — Required to deliver your order
  • Your order details — Items purchased, quantities, variants selected (size, color, etc.)
  • Your phone number — If you provided one at checkout, it may be shared with the seller or carrier for delivery coordination only

Communication-Related Information:

  • Your email address — Only visible if you message the seller directly through our platform
  • Your message content — Whatever you write in seller messages

This is standard for any marketplace or online retailer. Your order can't be shipped without a name and address, and seller communication requires an email to respond to.

What Sellers Can NEVER See

Sellers on Inspire Uplift do not have access to:

  • Your credit card or payment details — Payments are processed entirely through Inspire Uplift. Sellers never see your card number, expiration date, CVV, or any payment information. They receive their payout from us, not from your card.
  • Your account password — Encrypted and invisible to everyone, including us
  • Your browsing history — Sellers can't see what other products you've looked at or what other sellers you've visited
  • Your purchase history with other sellers — Each seller only sees orders placed with them, not your overall Inspire Uplift shopping history
  • Your billing address — Unless it's the same as your shipping address
  • Your account settings or saved payment methods — Your account configuration is completely private
  • Your wishlist or saved items — Unless you've chosen to share your wishlist publicly
  • Your support conversations with Inspire Uplift — Communication between you and our support team is private

How Your Payment Information Is Protected

The Payment Firewall: When you buy on Inspire Uplift, your payment goes through our secure payment processing system — not to the seller. Here's the flow:

  1. You enter payment details at checkout
  2. Our PCI-DSS certified payment partners process the transaction
  3. Your payment is confirmed and your order is placed
  4. The seller receives an order notification with shipping details — no payment information
  5. After the seller fulfills the order, they receive their payout from Inspire Uplift

The seller is completely removed from the payment process. They don't process your card, they don't see your card, and they can't charge you directly. This protects you from payment fraud even if a seller's own systems were ever compromised.

Your Privacy Controls

You have control over what information you share:

At Checkout:

  • Shipping address is required — your order needs to go somewhere
  • Phone number is optional in many cases — but providing one helps carriers reach you about delivery
  • Email is required for order confirmations — but you can use any email address you prefer

When Messaging Sellers:

  • Your email becomes visible to the seller when you send them a message

What to Do If You Suspect a Seller Is Misusing Your Information

If you believe a seller is using your personal information inappropriately — such as sending unsolicited marketing emails, contacting you outside the platform, or sharing your details — take these steps:

Step 1: Document It

  • Save any unsolicited emails, messages, or communications from the seller
  • Take screenshots showing the seller's name and the content
  • Note dates and how they contacted you (email, phone, text, etc.)

Step 2: Report It Immediately Contact us with your evidence:

Include:

  • The seller's name or store link
  • Your order number
  • What the seller did with your information
  • Screenshots or evidence
