Updated by Inspire Uplift Marketplace

Inspire Uplift LLC prohibits impersonation, unauthorized account access, and the use of stolen identity or payment information. This policy applies to buyer and seller accounts and marketplace transactions.

Identifying warning signs

Potential indicators of identity theft include:

  • Reports of unauthorized purchases or account access.
  • Unexpected changes to account contact information, shipping addresses, or payout details.
  • Inconsistent account information or suspected altered identification documents.
  • Unusual order or seller activity.
  • Fraud alerts received from payment providers, customers, or authorities.

A warning sign prompts review and does not, by itself, establish identity theft.

Detection and review

Our team uses internal order and seller tracking tools, manual review, customer reports, and available payment-provider alerts to identify concerns. Relevant account information, orders, communications, and fulfillment records are reviewed as appropriate.

Response

Suspected identity theft must be escalated to management. Depending on the circumstances, we may verify account ownership through a trusted contact method, restrict account access, pause affected transactions or payouts where permitted, cancel fraudulent orders, and assist with account recovery.

We coordinate with relevant payment providers and notify affected users or authorities when appropriate or required by law. Relevant findings and actions must be documented.

Responsibility and maintenance

Management is responsible for implementing this policy, assigning review responsibilities, providing relevant staff guidance, and reviewing the policy at least annually and following significant incidents or operational changes.

Report a concern

Contact contact@inspireuplift.com or our 24/7 live chat if you suspect identity theft or unauthorized activity. Never send passwords or full payment-card details.
