Whether you've spotted a suspicious listing, received a questionable communication claiming to be from Inspire Uplift, noticed unauthorized activity on your account, or had a bad experience with a seller that feels fraudulent, we investigate every report and take swift action.

Red Flags to Watch For

Suspicious Listings Be cautious of products priced dramatically lower than similar items (a $200 product for $15), listings that pressure you to pay outside our platform (PayPal direct, wire transfer, cryptocurrency, Venmo outside checkout), vague or stolen product descriptions and photos, and sellers who ask for personal information beyond what's needed for an order.

Suspicious Communications Watch for emails or messages claiming to be from Inspire Uplift that don't come from @inspireuplift.com addresses, messages with urgent demands for payment or personal information, links that lead to websites other than www.inspireuplift.com, requests for your password, full credit card number, Social Security number, or banking credentials, and messages with poor grammar, generic greetings ("Dear Customer"), or suspicious attachments.

Suspicious Account Activity Warning signs include orders you didn't place appearing in your account, changes to your account information you didn't make, password reset emails you didn't request, payment charges you don't recognize, and login notifications from locations or devices you don't recognize.

How to Report Fraud

Step 1: Don't engage. If someone is trying to scam you, stop communicating with them. Don't click suspicious links, don't send money outside our platform, and don't provide personal information.

Step 2: Document everything. Take screenshots of suspicious listings, messages, emails, or account activity. Save any relevant URLs. Note dates, times, and details.

Include your screenshots, a description of what happened, any order numbers involved, and the URL of the suspicious listing or seller if applicable.

Step 4: Secure your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, change your password immediately, enable two-factor authentication (Account Settings > Security), check your order history for unfamiliar orders, and verify your account information hasn't been changed.

What We Do When Fraud Is Reported

Every fraud report triggers an investigation. Depending on the findings, we may remove suspicious product listings immediately, suspend or permanently ban fraudulent seller accounts, reverse unauthorized transactions and process refunds, escalate to our security team for deeper investigation, and report patterns of fraud to relevant authorities.

We take all reports seriously — even if a report turns out to be a misunderstanding, we'd rather investigate and find nothing than miss genuine fraud.

Protecting Yourself

Only pay through our checkout. Every legitimate Inspire Uplift transaction goes through our secure checkout system. Never send money directly to a seller through PayPal, Venmo, wire transfer, gift cards, cryptocurrency, or any method outside our platform. Off-platform payments aren't covered by our Purchase Protection.

Verify emails are from us. All legitimate Inspire Uplift emails come from @inspireuplift.com addresses. Check the actual sender address, not just the display name. See our article on recognizing phishing emails for more details.

Use strong account security. A unique password plus two-factor authentication makes your account significantly harder to compromise.

Monitor your payment statements. After making purchases, check your bank or credit card statements for charges you don't recognize. Inspire Uplift charges may appear as INSPIREUPLIFT, PAYPAL *INSPIREUPLI, or similar on your statement.

Trust your instincts. If something feels off — a deal that's too good to be true, a seller who's pushy or evasive, a communication that doesn't look right — report it. Better safe than sorry.

Q: I think I've been scammed by a seller. What do I do? A: Contact us immediately with your order number and details. If you paid through our checkout system, you're covered by Purchase Protection and we'll work to get you a refund or replacement. If a seller convinced you to pay outside our platform, we'll still investigate and take action against the seller, though recovery options may be more limited.

Q: I received a suspicious email that looks like it's from Inspire Uplift. Is it real? A: Check the sender's actual email address — all our emails come from @inspireuplift.com. If the email asks for your password, full card number, or directs you to a non-inspireuplift.com website, it's a scam. Don't click any links. Forward the email to contact@inspireuplift.com so we can investigate.

Q: Someone placed orders on my account that I didn't make. What should I do? A: Change your password immediately and enable 2FA. Then contact us with details about the unauthorized orders. We'll cancel any unshipped orders, investigate the breach, and process refunds for unauthorized charges.

Q: I accidentally clicked a suspicious link. Am I at risk? A: Change your Inspire Uplift password immediately, especially if you entered any login credentials on the suspicious page. Enable 2FA on your account. Run a virus/malware scan on your device. Monitor your bank statements for unusual charges. Contact us if you notice any unauthorized activity on your account.

Q: Can I report fraud anonymously? A: Yes. You can report suspicious listings or sellers without providing your personal information. However, if you've been personally affected (unauthorized charges, received a fraudulent product), providing your account and order details helps us resolve your specific case.
