Can I combine multiple orders?
Find out if you can combine separate orders into one shipment.
If you've placed separate orders and want them combined into one shipment, we may be able to help — but timing is everything. The sooner you contact us, the better the chances. Here's how it works and what to expect.
Can Orders Be Combined?
Sometimes yes, sometimes no. It depends on several factors:
Most likely to succeed:
- Both orders were placed within a short time of each other
- Both orders are from the same seller
- Neither order has started processing yet
- You contact us within the first hour of placing your orders
Less likely to succeed:
- Orders are from different sellers (each seller ships independently)
- One or both orders have already started processing
- Significant time has passed since the orders were placed
- Orders are shipping to different addresses
Why it's not always possible: Inspire Uplift is a marketplace with 55,000+ independent sellers. Each seller manages their own inventory and fulfillment. When you order products from different sellers, those items are prepared and shipped from different locations — combining them into one package isn't physically possible because the products are in different places.

What to Include
- Both order numbers
- Confirmation that both orders should ship to the same address
- Whether you'd prefer combined shipping or just want the items in one package
What Happens Next
- We check whether both orders are from the same seller
- We verify neither order has started processing
- If combination is possible, we coordinate with the seller
- We confirm the combined order with you
- You receive one shipment with one tracking number instead of two
Why You Might Receive Multiple Packages
Even for a single order, you may receive multiple packages. This is completely normal on a marketplace and doesn't mean anything went wrong:
Different Sellers
If you ordered products from different sellers in one transaction:
- Each seller ships their items separately from their own location
- You'll receive separate packages with separate tracking numbers
- Packages may arrive on different days
- Each tracking number is visible in your order details
Example: You order a phone case from Seller A and a necklace from Seller B in the same checkout. You'll receive two packages because those items are in two different locations, possibly in different countries.
Different Warehouses
Even items from the same seller may ship separately if:
- Products are stored in different warehouse locations
- One item is in stock and another needs to be produced
- Items have different shipping methods or carriers
- The seller splits the shipment for logistical reasons
Different Processing Times
If one item in your order is ready to ship immediately and another takes longer:
- The seller may ship the ready item first so you get it sooner
- The remaining item ships when it's prepared
- This is actually better for you — you get part of your order faster
Check your email and your "My Orders" page for all tracking numbers associated with your order. Each shipment has its own tracking.
Saving on Shipping With Multiple Orders
If you're concerned about paying shipping on multiple separate orders, here are ways to minimize costs:
Join Inspire Uplift Perks
The most effective solution for frequent shoppers:
Perks membership ($4.97/month, first month free) gives you free shipping on every order — no minimum purchase, no exceptions.
This means:
- Order as many times as you want without worrying about shipping costs
- No pressure to combine everything into one order just to save on shipping
- Buy from multiple sellers without paying shipping on each
- Even single-item impulse purchases ship free
- Plus 2% cashback, package protection, and priority support
If shipping costs are your main reason for wanting to combine orders, Perks eliminates the problem entirely.

Order Everything at Once
If you know you want multiple items, adding them all to your cart and checking out once is better than placing several separate orders:
- Items from the same seller in one checkout are more likely to ship together
- You only go through the checkout process once
- Easier to track one order than several
- Some sellers may combine items from the same order into one package
Tip: Browse and add items to your cart over time, then check out once when you're ready. Your cart saves between sessions when you're logged in.
Look for Free Shipping Offers
- Some products include free shipping regardless of Perks membership
- Check the product page for shipping costs before adding to cart
- Free shipping products from different sellers will still ship separately, but at no cost to you
What About Combining Orders to Save on Customs?
For international customers, combining orders doesn't necessarily reduce customs duties:
- Customs duties are based on the declared value of each shipment
- Two small shipments and one combined shipment of the same total value may be assessed similarly
- In some cases, keeping shipments separate actually helps if each individual package falls below your country's duty-free threshold
- We handle customs duties for most international orders through our DDP shipping arrangements, so this is usually not a concern
Modifying an Existing Order Instead of Placing a New One
If you want to add items to an order you already placed (rather than combining two separate orders):
Contact us immediately:
- If the order hasn't started processing, we may be able to modify it
- Contact us within the first hour for the best chance
- Let us know what items you want to add
- We'll coordinate with the seller if possible
If modification isn't possible:
- Place a separate order for the additional items
- If you're a Perks member, shipping is free on both orders
- Both orders will show in your "My Orders" page with separate tracking
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I combine orders from different sellers? A: No — different sellers ship from different locations, so their items can't be physically combined into one package. Each seller prepares and ships their own products independently. This is standard for any marketplace (Amazon, Etsy, etc.).
Q: Will I be charged shipping twice if I place two separate orders? A: Shipping is calculated per order based on the items and destination. Perks members get free shipping on all orders, so this isn't a concern. For non-Perks members, yes — each order may have its own shipping charge.
Q: I placed two orders from the same seller by mistake. Can they be combined? A: Possibly. Contact us immediately with both order numbers. If neither has started processing, we can ask the seller to combine them. The sooner you contact us, the better — within the first hour is ideal.
Q: Why did my single order arrive in multiple packages? A: This typically means your order included items from different sellers, or the same seller shipped items from different locations. Check your email and "My Orders" for multiple tracking numbers. Each package can be tracked independently. All items in your order are covered by the same protections regardless of how many packages they arrive in.
Q: Can I add items to an order that's already been placed? A: Contact us immediately — if the order hasn't started processing, we may be able to add items. If it's already being prepared or has shipped, you'll need to place a separate order for the additional items.
Q: I ordered from the same seller twice in one day. Will they ship together automatically? A: Not necessarily. Each order is processed independently unless the seller decides to combine them on their own. If you want to request combination, contact us right away with both order numbers.
Q: Does combining orders affect my delivery time? A: It could. If one item is ready to ship immediately and another takes longer, combining means the faster item waits for the slower one. In some cases, receiving separate shipments actually gets you your items faster overall.
Q: My cart emptied before I could add all my items. Now I need to place two orders. A: Your cart should save between sessions when you're logged in. If your cart emptied unexpectedly, you can place two separate orders. If you're a Perks member, shipping is free on both. If not, contact us right away and we'll try to combine the orders before they process.
Q: Can the seller combine my orders on their own without me asking? A: Some sellers may proactively combine orders from the same customer shipping to the same address. However, this is at the seller's discretion and isn't guaranteed. If you want orders combined, it's best to contact us to make the request.
