Can I save my payment method?

Storing payment information for faster checkout.

Yes! You can save payment methods in your account for faster checkout. Instead of entering your card details every time you shop, save them once and select from your stored methods with a single click. Your payment information is stored securely using encryption and tokenization — we never save your full card number.

How to Save a Payment Method

During Checkout: When completing a purchase, you may see an option to save your payment method for future use — a checkbox like "Save this card for next time" or "Remember this payment method." Check the box and your card is saved after the purchase completes.

Through Account Settings:

  1. Log into your account at www.inspireuplift.com
  2. Go to Account Settings
  3. Find "Payment Methods" or "Saved Cards"
  4. Click "Add Payment Method"
  5. Enter your card details
  6. Save

Your card is now available for quick selection at every future checkout.

What's Stored (And What Isn't)

What we store: Card type (Visa, Mastercard, etc.), last 4 digits (for your reference so you know which card is which), a secure token — a randomly generated reference code that represents your card in our system, and your billing address associated with the card.

What we never store: Your full card number, your CVV/security code, your card's PIN, and your bank login credentials.

The secure token system means that even if someone accessed our database, they'd find only meaningless reference codes — not usable card numbers. This is the same tokenization approach used by Apple Pay, Google Pay, and all major e-commerce platforms.

Managing Your Saved Payment Methods

View saved methods: Account Settings > Payment Methods. You'll see each saved card listed by type and last 4 digits.

Add a new method: Click "Add" and enter the new card details.

Remove a method: Click "Remove" or "Delete" next to the card you want to remove. The token is permanently deleted from our system.

Update an expired card: Remove the old card and add the new one. If your bank issued a replacement card with a new number, you'll need to add it as a new payment method.

Set a default: If you have multiple saved methods, you may be able to designate one as your default for faster checkout.

Using Saved Methods at Checkout

When you proceed to checkout while logged in, your saved payment methods appear as selectable options. Click the one you want to use — no need to type anything. You may be asked to enter your CVV for security verification, even with a saved card. This extra step confirms you have the physical card and prevents unauthorized use of saved methods.

Alternative Fast Payment Options

Beyond saving cards, these methods also speed up checkout:

PayPal — log in once and PayPal handles payment from your balance or linked funding sources.

Apple Pay — uses cards saved in your Apple Wallet. Confirm with Face ID or Touch ID.

Google Pay — uses cards saved in your Google account. Confirm with biometrics or PIN.

Venmo — pays from your Venmo balance or linked funding source.

All of these pull payment information from their respective systems, so you don't need to enter card details on our site at all.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is it safe to save my card? A: Yes. Only a secure token and last 4 digits are stored — never your full card number or CVV. The token is useless outside our system. This is industry-standard security used by all major platforms. For more details, see our article: Are My Payment Details Safe?

Q: Can someone use my saved card if they access my account? A: They could potentially place an order, which is why strong account security is important. Use a unique password, enable two-factor authentication (Account Settings > Security), and don't share your login credentials. If you suspect unauthorized access, remove saved payment methods and change your password immediately.

Q: Will my saved card work for buy now, pay later (Afterpay, Klarna)? A: Afterpay and Klarna manage their own payment methods through their apps and accounts, separate from our saved card system. Cards saved on our site are for direct card payments at checkout.

Q: My saved card expired. Will my next order fail? A: Yes — an expired card will be declined at checkout. Remove the expired card from your saved methods and add your new card. If your bank sent a replacement with the same number but a new expiration date, you'll need to update the details.

Q: Can I save multiple payment methods? A: Yes. Save as many cards as you'd like. At checkout, select which one to use for that specific order.
