Why You Might Need a Different Billing Address
There are several reasons your billing and shipping addresses might not match:
- Sending a gift to someone else's address
- Your credit card is registered to a different address than where you live
- Shipping to your workplace while your card is linked to your home
- Recently moved but haven't updated your card's address yet
How to Enter a Separate Billing Address
Step 1: Add your items to your cart and proceed to checkout.
Step 2: In the Shipping Address section, enter the address where you want your order delivered.
Step 3: Look for the checkbox that says "My billing address is the same as my shipping address." By default, this box is checked.
Step 4: Uncheck this box. A new Billing Address section will appear below the shipping address fields.
Step 5: Fill in your billing address — this should match the address your bank or credit card company has on file for your payment method.
Step 6: Complete the Secure Payment section and click Order and Pay to finish your purchase.
Tips for a Smooth Checkout
- Match your billing address exactly to what your bank has on file. Even small differences (like "Street" vs "St.") can sometimes cause payment issues.
- Double-check both addresses before submitting — shipping errors are harder to fix once your order is on the way.
- Using Express Checkout? If you pay with Google Pay, PayPal, Venmo, Klarna, or Afterpay, your billing address is typically pulled from your account with that payment provider.
