Can I print product pages?
Saving product information offline.
Yes! You can print or save any product page on Inspire Uplift directly from your browser. Whether you want a physical copy for reference, need to compare products offline, want to share a product with someone who isn't online, or just prefer having a paper record, printing a product page takes just a few seconds. Here's how to do it on any device and some smarter alternatives depending on what you need.
How to Print a Product Page
On Desktop (Windows):
- Navigate to the product page you want to print
- Press Ctrl+P on your keyboard
- Your browser's print dialog will open
- Select your printer (or choose "Save as PDF" to create a digital file)
- Adjust settings if needed (orientation, margins, pages)
- Click "Print" or "Save"
On Desktop (Mac):
- Navigate to the product page
- Press Cmd+P on your keyboard
- The print dialog will appear
- Select your printer or choose "Save as PDF" from the PDF dropdown in the bottom-left
- Adjust settings as needed
- Click "Print" or "Save"
On iPhone/iPad:
- Open the product page in Safari or Chrome
- Tap the Share icon (square with an upward arrow)
- Scroll down and tap "Print"
- Select your AirPrint-compatible printer
- Tap "Print" To save as PDF instead: in the print preview, pinch outward on the preview image with two fingers — this converts it to a PDF you can save or share.
On Android:
- Open the product page in Chrome
- Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner
- Tap "Share" then "Print" (or tap "Print" directly if available)
- Select your printer or choose "Save as PDF"
- Tap the print or save button
Saving as PDF (Recommended)
Instead of printing on paper, saving the product page as a PDF gives you a digital copy you can keep forever without using ink or paper:
Why PDF is often better than printing:
- Takes up zero physical space
- Easy to organize in folders on your computer or phone
- Searchable — you can find it later by searching the file name
- Shareable — email it, text it, or share via any messaging app
- Preservable — won't fade, wrinkle, or get lost like paper
How to save as PDF: On any device, when the print dialog appears, look for a "Save as PDF," "Microsoft Print to PDF," or "PDF" option instead of selecting a physical printer. Choose where to save the file, give it a descriptive name (like "Blue Ceramic Mug - Inspire Uplift"), and save.
Tip: Create a folder on your computer or phone called "Shopping" or "Inspire Uplift" and save product PDFs there. This gives you an organized reference library of products you're considering.
What's Included When You Print
When you print a product page, the printout typically includes the product title and description, product images (the main image and possibly some gallery images), price, product specifications and details, and the product URL for easy reference back to the online listing.
What may not print well: Interactive elements like image carousels (you'll get whichever image is currently displayed), customer reviews (these may be cut off or require scrolling past the printable area), size selection dropdowns and variant options, and the Q&A section.
For the most complete capture of a product page, saving as PDF usually captures more content than a physical print, and a screenshot captures exactly what's on your screen.
Better Alternatives Depending on Your Goal
Printing works, but depending on what you're trying to accomplish, there might be a smarter approach:
If you want to save a product for later → Use your Wishlist Click the heart icon or "Add to Wishlist" on the product page. The product is saved to your account and accessible from any device. Your wishlist always shows current pricing and availability — unlike a printout that becomes outdated the moment the price changes or the item sells out. This is the best option for products you're considering buying.
If you want to compare products → Open multiple tabs Open each product page in a separate browser tab and compare them side by side. This gives you live data, current pricing, and access to the full product details for each item. On a large monitor, you can view two tabs side by side for easy comparison.
If you want to share a product with someone → Share the link Copy the product page URL from your browser's address bar and send it via text, email, or messaging app. The recipient can view the full product page with all its current details — images, reviews, pricing, availability — which is far more useful than a static printout.
If you want an offline reference → Save as PDF or screenshot A PDF captures the page in a saveable, shareable format. A screenshot captures exactly what's on your screen — useful for quickly capturing a product image, price, and name without printing an entire page.
If you want to keep a record of something you purchased → Check your order history Your order history in "My Orders" preserves a complete record of every purchase, including what you ordered, when, how much you paid, and tracking information. This is more useful than a printed product page for post-purchase reference.
If you want to show someone a product in person → Use your phone Pull up the product page on your phone and show them directly. They can see the images, scroll through reviews, and even place an order on the spot. Better than handing someone a piece of paper.
Printing Tips for the Best Results
If you do want a physical printout, these tips help you get the best result:
Use "Print Preview" first. Before printing, check the print preview to see how the page will look on paper. Product pages are designed for screens, not paper, so the layout may look different when printed. Preview lets you catch issues before wasting paper.
Choose landscape orientation for wide product pages. If the printout cuts off content on the right side, switch from portrait to landscape orientation in the print dialog. This gives you more horizontal space.
Print only the pages you need. Product pages can be quite long when printed. In the print dialog, you can select specific page numbers rather than printing everything. Usually the first 1-2 pages contain the product image, title, price, and key details — the rest may be reviews and recommended products you don't need.
Adjust margins to fit more content. If content is getting cut off, reduce margins in the print settings. Most browsers let you set custom margins — try "Narrow" or "Minimum" margins.
Disable headers and footers. Browsers often add their own headers (URL, date) and footers (page numbers) to printouts. If these aren't useful, disable them in the print dialog for a cleaner printout.
Print in color for product images. Product images are much more useful in color, especially for items where color is a key feature (clothing, home decor, accessories). If you're printing on a black-and-white printer, consider saving as PDF instead so you can view the colors on screen.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I print from the mobile app? A: The app doesn't have a built-in print function. Open the product page in your phone's web browser instead (copy the product URL from the app) and print from there using your browser's print function. Alternatively, take a screenshot and print the screenshot.
Q: Will the printed page show the current price? A: It shows the price at the moment you print. Prices on our marketplace can change as sellers adjust pricing, so a printout may become outdated. For current pricing, always check the live product page before purchasing.
Q: Can I print my order confirmation or receipt? A: Yes. Open your order confirmation email and press Ctrl+P or Cmd+P to print. You can also go to "My Orders" in your account, click on the specific order, and print the order details page. For more on receipts, see our article: Can I Get a Receipt for Tax Purposes?
Q: The product page looks weird when I print it. Why? A: Web pages are designed for screens, not paper. Interactive elements, navigation menus, and dynamic content don't always translate well to print format. For the best results, use "Save as PDF" which typically produces a cleaner output, or take a screenshot of the specific information you need.
Q: Can I print product reviews separately? A: You can try scrolling down to the reviews section and using your browser's print function, but reviews may not print cleanly since they're loaded dynamically. For review content, screenshots or saving as PDF from the reviews section usually works better.
